Doubletree Hotel
To make a reservation at the Doubletree Hotel, identify yourself under the ASEH 2009 Conference group. All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. Reservations may be made by either calling a toll-free number at 800.222.8733 or via the Internet.
To make a reservation online, follow these steps:
1) Go to www.tallahassee.doubletree.com
2) Choose your dates and click “Go.”
3) Next screen enter the group/Convention code (have to scroll down to see the box on the screen) and enter ASE (only three letters could be used) and click “continue.”
4) This will bring you to the rates and room type availability screen. Choose your room type and click “continue.”
5) Here you will enter your personal and guarantee information and click ”book now” to reserve your room.
Alternate Hotels
The Governors Inn at 209 S. Adams Street, one block from the Doubletree Hotel, offers a rate of $144 per night, which includes parking, breakfast, and afternoon cocktails. Phone 850.681.6855 or see http://www.thegovinn.com/
As of Jan. 27, the Hotel at Capital Hill still had rooms available. It's located at Capital Hill at 316 W. Tennessee Street. It has no airport shuttle, but the rate is $59/night if you mention ASEH. Call 850.222.9555.
